The world is only just beginning to understand what it means to be a part of Chapter and Verse's 'The New Breed'.
With a swiftly growing community around them, the London based quintet are quickly rising to the forefront of the underground alt-rock scene and have recently garnered attention from Metallica's Lars Ulrich, played the heights of 2000 Trees Festival's main stage and hit the road with a host of international touring bands such as Emarosa, Hellions and Courage My Love. Chapter and Verse's live presence and energy is a breath of fresh air and has been recently captivating audiences on their own debut headline tour in May 2019.
The sonically diverse 'Glow'EP, championed by Radio 1, was an early yet promising look at what Chapter and Verse are capable of. However it's the eagerly awaited ‘LOVE & ERROR' EP that shows the band coming into their element with five tracks that weave their way through anthemic pop-rock and carefully crafted electronics, all pinned together by Josh Carter's distinctive vocal form.
“As per its namesake this new record is about love and error as opposing forces” says Josh, “Each song talks about a different time in my life where love has either fallen victim to poor choices or has conquered them."
Alongside the release of these tracks, which the band describe to be their most focused material yet, they have completed a UK tour support for Press to MECO in October 2019. As well as this the band has been personally chosen to support Poets of the Fall on two huge dates in December.
Chapter and Verse have blasted back into the scene with the success of their first comeback single 'Bad Blood', receiving high praise from CLASH and Upset magazines, R1's Dan P Carter and Kerrang! Radio, as well as being added to major rock playlists across all DSPs. The band have proved themselves firmly as one to watch out for in 2020.
