Fighting Children's Cancer With Rock

2024

Due to artist costs increasing and the larger festivals putting tougher exclusivity on the majority of acts that we could access, landing acts to headline our event had become unfeasible and far too risky. Also equipment prices were increasing at an unprecedented level. Teddy Rocks made a huge decision to change main stage acts to tributes. This allowed us to continue to give away huge amounts of money to the charities we support instead of losing that money to festival costs.

The friday night pop party however remained, with Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, Five and DJ Sammy taking to the main stage.

Legendary tribute acts Live/wire and QE2 gave us nights to remember, playing polished versions of our favourite AC/DC and Queen Songs.

Katie Thistleton with Hacker T Dog, Dick & Dom, The Ogretones and Slay Duggee added a family friendly vibe to the event too

With a cost of living crisis in full flow too, we decided to reduce our ticket prices. For those who had already purchased tickets we offered full refunds, partial refunds or a free VIP upgrade. The last of which was chosen by an overwhelming majority of patrons.

Total announcement will be made soon.
